Learning from real work
200Lab shapes the mindset and the method; you practice on your own assignments and verify the results.
Each lesson starts with a question, then uses diagrams, code, and verifiable technical decisions.
Four concepts you will use throughout the course
| Checkpoint | Status |
|---|---|
| 01 · tool schema is valid | pass |
| 02 · policy blocks writes outside the sandbox | pass |
| 03 · retry on MCP timeout | needs fix |
| 04 · trace records every tool call | pass |
Mentors work alongside you and review your work against a rubric, concretely, on your own code and run results.

An agent is not a prompt. It is a loop with constraints. A tool call is a proposed action, not proof that it happened. The harness is where you set the boundaries: what may be called, with which permissions, and which results are trusted.
The 200Lab story
The 200Lab story began in 2007, when founder Việt Trần, with more than 15 years on real-world projects, saw a wide gap between what businesses need and what developers can deliver.
He watched projects that “worked” but stood on weak foundations, and developers who were strong technically yet struggled to design a system properly. He set out to build a different kind of training: one where lessons come from the constraints of real systems, not from examples staged for a classroom.
In the AI era that gap has taken a new shape: everyone can reach AI, but very few bring it into their work in a disciplined, measurable way. That is why every 200Lab program today aims at one goal: helping learners apply AI better to their own work.

From the classroom
Not generic praise: this is how learners describe what they now understand better and have put to work.
3,000+learners have chosen 200Lab programs.

Before you start
Yes. Each group of learners has its own suggested path under Who it is for; if you do not write code, start with the free course “Understand data formats to communicate well with AI”.
You pay at checkout by bank transfer with a VietQR code, or with your PayPal account (charged in USD, PayPal's fee included).
Transfers are matched automatically, so the course usually appears in your learning space within a few minutes. Keep the transfer description exactly as the checkout shows it.
An order stays open for 30 minutes. After that, open the order again and create a new QR code; you do not have to start over.
Your access term follows the package you buy and is stated right under the price on each course page.
Yes. When lessons are added or revised you receive those changes for as long as your access lasts, at no extra cost.
Yes. 200Lab runs in the browser on a computer and on a phone, with no app to install. Progress is saved to your account, so you can switch devices and continue.
Yes. Completing the course earns a Certificate with a verification code. Anyone can check that code on 200Lab's Certificate verification page if you choose to make it public.
Yes. Every course has trial lessons: open them with the trial button on the course page, and they are marked in the curriculum.
Recorded courses are not refunded once access has been granted, which is why every course has free trial lessons to preview first. 200Lab refunds only when a technical fault stops you from learning and 200Lab does not fix it within 3 working days. Mistaken purchases are not refunded; if you bought the wrong item, contact 200Lab as soon as possible (within 12 hours) so it can be resolved appropriately. Live courses are fully refunded if you ask at least 24 hours before the first session. Details are in the Refunds section of the Terms.

Learning Paths
Each path lines up its courses in the order to take them, so you know where you stand, what to learn next and why.
Learning Path
A structured way to learn
Every course opens with free trial lessons.
FeaturedCourse · Harness
Thinking Systematically in the Age of AI
Systems under high load: tail latency and fan-out, concurrency limits and connection pool sizing, rate limiting, waiting rooms, load shedding and backpressure, cache keys, invalidation, cache stampede and CDN headers, deadline budgets, bulkheads, circuit breakers and graceful degradation
Where to start
Build apps with Claude Code or Codex that keep working after every change, then hand work to an agent with a brief and a spec and let it run until it reaches the goal.
Ship LLM features with a clear scope, measure quality with metrics and datasets, then build a harness so the agent runs under control.
Organize code that is easy to change, design APIs that hold their contract between services, and keep data correct through timeouts, retries and crashes.
Estimate load, pick the cache, queue and replicas the workload needs, and keep the system standing as traffic and data grow.
